Hello Girl Bosses! As we all know the Corona Virus has us all in quarantine for who know how long. It can start to get boring and detrimental to someones mental health by being in the house all day long with limited social encounters and nothing to do. So I decided that I wanted to share my quarantine routine to show you guys that you can still be productive, healthy and active in quarantine.You just need to find what works for you, what you like, and what you may want to accomplish.
8:00 am :
I Wake Up and drink a bottle of water that I have placed next to my bed the night before.
I get out of bed and immediately make my bed then I go to the bathroom to do my skin care routine. I then get dressed and ready for the day.
I go downstairs to the kitchen and make my self a cup of honey lemon chamomile tea. I then sit at the kitchen table and catch up on my blog.
Around 9:30 am I tend to get hungry so I make myself breakfast. I either make a bowl of Special K cereal with fresh blueberries, a bowl of oatmeal, or a bowl of fresh fruit. After I finish eating I clean the kitchen and go back to my room.
After I eat my breakfast I usually go to my room or outside depending on the weather and read a book. Sometimes this can last one hour, sometimes it can last two.
After I finish reading I feel stiff from sitting or laying down for a long period of time so I decided to do my yoga after I read. I spend about 20 minutes doing a stretch routine which is very important to do everyday to avoid injury. Then I go onto YouTube and find a yoga routine that I want to do. I usually spend about 30 minutes doing the yoga routine. After I finished the video I spend about 10 minutes meditating to calm my body and mind.
Lunch Time! For lunch I usually make 1 of 3 things, I ether make a bowl of soup, 2 hard boiled eggs on a plate of veggies to dip in balsamic vinaigrette, or 2 hard boiled eggs and 2 rice cakes.
After lunch I usually spend a couple hours doing a couple hobbies or going on social media. I try to limit the amount of Tik Toks I watch and time spent on instagram. For my hobbies I either work on a blog post that I am inspired to write. Sometimes I feel like drawing or continue reading the book I was reading in the morning. Other days I may just want to watch tv for a little while so I can relax. I try to limit tv time to about an hour or two a day. Some days I may want to do laundry or clean my room. i use a few hours in the middle of the day to do something on my to do list. Lastly, on the days that are nice I love to sit outside and tan.
I try to do something fun!
My grandmother using come home from work at this time so I go downstairs and hel her cook dinner
Dinner Time! For dinner we alway make some type of protein, a vegetable or two and occasionally a starch like pasta, potatoes, or rice. Then after diner I spend about half an hour cleaning up.
At this point I have my second cup of tea of the day and write some more on my blog. I also tend to catch up with my friends and have a few FaceTime calls.
Now it is time for my night time skin care routine and getting ready for bed.
